Training

All operatives using AESA machinery are required to be fully trained and competent in the use of the equipment.Aesa offer training on site to groups of 4 operatives per session.

  • Safety procedures before and during use of cradle equipment.
  • Safe working load.
  • Prevention of potentially dangerous situations.
  • Emergency rescue procedure.
  • Introduction to site-specific model and basic technical operation of equipment.
  • Technical data specific to machine
  • Working envelope of equipment relative to the building.
  • Changes and settings achieved via selection of various different attachments.
  • Method statements to be signed.
  • Attachments and their uses.

Practical training:
  • Health and safety in the working environment.
  • Pre use visual checks and assessment of track and machinery.
  • Operation of control panel.
  • Attachment and save removal of accessories where applicable to specific machine i.e.: Removable cradles, extendable cradles and pentographs.
  • Trouble shooting.

Cost for allowing the contractor use of the cradles following handover and retesting & commissioning when requested.

AESA occasionally reaches an agreement with the main contractor for a certain amount of use of the machine for final finishings to the building before handover.

24 hour call out and emergency response within 2 hours free of charge should equipment failure be the cause of the fault.

Excludes*:

Monthly service.
Additional training.
Cost of parts replacement and system refurbishment, due to wear and tear.

At the customers request, we also offer our services on site as an external consultant that means the client has their own specialist but we bring also our own engineers on site in order to assist them:

We are then specialized on cleaning windows from a gondola, using a mansafe system, or a monorrail. Our people are fully trained at working at heights and are assisted by our after sales department.

Also, U.S. Department of Energy studies demonstrate that buildings with windows clean cut carbon dioxide emissions by 5% .

To reduce the consumption of electricity for illumination is an effective energy saving strategy.

The new European regulations: 2002/91/CE Energy Performance Building Directive (EPBD) and the Energy Certificate - Carbon Footprint will list the buildings according to the energy efficiency . The measure will mean a significant decrease in the air pollution.

Iinspections have to be carried out, the minimum is every 12 months. This is due to the fact that the safety of users depends on the efficiency and reliablility of the equipment.

Testing procedures are carried out in accordance with the relevant standards. and carried out by capable personnel, following the precise procedures that AESA adheres to EN 365:2004 4.4 a, b, c.

AESA personnel will annually carry out routine checks and will issue a copy to the client for their records.

In the even that any abnormality is detected on the equipment the manufacturer must be notified immediately, as it is solely and exclusively authorized to carry out modifications/repairs. EN 365:2004 4.5.

Maintenance and Testing fully in accordance with EN 6037, EN 1808 and LOLER 1998.

Inspection sheets will be issued after every inspection and certificates of test will be issued annually subject to satisfactory test.

In addition to our routine maintenance contracts, we are able to offer an emergency call out service to quickly return vital access equipment back to working order. We are also available on a 24 hour basis to answer calls and provide assistance to site based facility staff.

As manufacturers we can offer a comprehensive inspection and report service on façade access systems. We also offer a refurbishment or replacement service to upgrade existing installations to comply with the current industry standards and legislation.

Our technicians are factory trained and are fully conversant with current Health and Safety legislation associated with the operation and maintenance of façade access systems. As such they are suitably qualified to provide effective operator training including basic emergency procedures.

Thorough Inspections. Regular Condition Reports from each Maintenance Visit. Issue of Non-Conformity Certificates for safety related Items as well as projected defects for budget purposes.

Refurbishment. Full repair and refurbishment capability from our own dedicated Cradle Engineers.
